The governance structure of the FAST-Infra Label is inspired by Green Bond Principles, and ensures equal participation from stakeholders with diverse backgrounds: financial services, Public and Private banks sectors, multilateral agencies, civil society, NGOs, developers and more.

FAST Initiative is born out of a collaboration between HSBC, the OECD, the IFC, the Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF) and the Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), under the auspices of the One Planet Summit. Over time, it has grown into a broad and inclusive public-private partnership.
Supported by more than 80 public and private institutions, FAST-Infra aims to close the current investment gap in sustainable infrastructure. Its strategy now revolves around three complementary axes:
FAST-Infra is now incorporated as FAST-Infra Group (FIG), a multi-stakeholder non-profit association under French law.

Executive Advisory Committee

The EAC holds a pivotal role as the formal stakeholder forum within the FAST-Infra Label's governance structure. Their contributions ensure the relevance and usefulness of the Secretariat's work across different regions involved in infrastructure development and implementation. They elect the Steering Committee (the primary governance body of the FAST-Infra Label) and provide feedback to the Secretariat on FAST-Infra Label content, strategic planning and implementation.

Secretariat

The Secretariat manages all ongoing administration of the FAST-Infra Label. The Secretariat team shares knowledge with the sustainable infrastructure community on the benefits of the Label; communicates guidelines and coordinates potential resources and capacity-building support amongst members to assist with FAST-Infra Label declaration, disclosure, and reporting procedures; manages the annual election of the SC and EAC; and organises EAC activities and meetings. The FAST Infra Group has designated Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation (GIB) as the Secretariat of the FAST-Infra Label.

Data Repository

Supporting the FAST-Infra Label governance structure, a Data Repository hosting all the key reporting information, and other related disclosures as part of the transparent demonstration of FAST-Infra Label alignment. Under the requirements of the FAST-Infra Framework, data will be provided by project sponsors, developers, and owners to enable other stakeholders, including prospective investors, to access and review. The FAST Infra Group has designated Bloomberg L.P. as Data Repository for the FAST-Infra Label.
